Passion, spirit of adventure, desire to be part of a team: three key ingredients to be part of the “Resia Rosolina Relay – Along Adige River,” the 433-kilometer relay race whose fourth edition, organized by ASD VRM TEAM in cooperation with ASV Rennerclub Vinschgau, ASD Polisportiva Adige, RUN IT Rovigo, is scheduled for Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, 2023.

A total of 40 stages that will engage teams of 10 runners, each of whom will cover over the course of the race four times the distance of about 10 kilometers. The race will take place, seamlessly, through a scenic route that unfolds along the course of the Adige River, Italy’s second longest river. It will start in Resia, Vinschgau, at the source of the river, and arrive in Rosolina Mare, on the Adriatic Sea in the province of Rovigo, crossing two regions, Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto, and five provinces-Bolzano, Trento, Verona, Venice and Rovigo. All this in a fairy-tale setting, along a route that will be 95 percent on bicycle roads.

Not only running and competitiveness: on Saturday evening, the tourist center of Rosolina Mare will welcome participants to the “Saperi e Sapori” Village, created by the Veneto Po Delta Tourist Consortium, which will also remain open on Sunday, the day when the race awards are scheduled.

Registration for this great race, the only one of its kind in Italy (to which Runner’s World trade magazine dedicated an eight-page special in its June issue), is open on the event’s website, www.resiarosolinarelay.it and on the Endu portal at the link: https://join.endu.net/entry?edition=79838

The entry fee is 550 euros per team until July 16 and will increase to 650 euros until August 31, the last day before registration closes.
