Team Relay Race

The event takes place according to the rules issued by FIDAL – WORLD ATHLETICS

ROUTE

The route measures approximately 430 km, divided into 40 stages.

ORGANIZATION

VRM Team ASD in collaborazione con ASV Rennerclub Vinschgau Raiffeisen, Run It Rovigo e Polisportiva Adige.

DEPARTURE

in Reschen BZ – 6 September 2024 from 4.00 a.m.

ARRIVAL

Rosolina Mare RO – 7 September 2024 from 6 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.

AWARDS

Rosolina Mare RO – 8 September 2024 from 10 a.m.

requirements for the athlete to register for the competition may participate:

  1. Athletes registered for 2024 for clubs affiliated to FIDAL
  2. Italian/foreign athletes in possession of Runcard (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete) and athletes registered for a Sports Promotion Body (Athletics Section), in possession of Runcard-EPS, limited to those 20 years old and in possession of a valid medical certificate of specific agonistic fitness for athletics, which must be compulsorily delivered, also digitally, to the organising clubs of each event
  3. Italian/foreign athletes not registered in Italy in possession of membership of clubs affiliated with Foreign Athletics Federations recognised by World Athletics. At the time of registration, they must alternatively present self-certification of possession of the membership card recognised by World Athletics. The self-certification must then be signed in original when collecting the bib.

TEAM REGISTRATION FEE

Team registration costs

From 7 April to 31 May 2024 – 500,00 euro
From 1 June to 30 June 2024 – 600,00 euro
From 1 July to 7 August 2024 – 700,00 euro

THE REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES

  1.   The race book (route and safety instructions);
  2.  Race bibs;
  3.  Timekeeping “relay witness”;
  4.  Race package;
  5.  ITALIAN RED CROSS medical assistance;
  6.  Insurance;
  7.  Medal for the athletes who arrived;
  8.  Certified Participation;
  9.  Final rankings.

SAFETY DEVICES

Each participant must be provided:

– Torch or headlight with recharge;

– LED rear light with recharge;

– reflective jacket.

During the night it is compulsory for the runner        to wear personal safety equipment.

WITHDRAWAL OF RACE EQUIPMENT AND VERIFICATION OF SAFETY DEVICES

The bibs, the identification plates of the two team vehicles and the baton will be handed out at the RACE SECRETARY upon presentation of the registration confirmation letter.

At the same location, the safety equipment for the night race of all team members will be checked.

At the end of the verification each competitor will be fastened with a non-removable personal wristband, which must be worn at least until the finish line.

In the event that the second five members are not present at the start, at the request of the team leader the bracelet will be fastened to the wrists of at least five competitors.

The wristband will be placed on the remaining team members before the start of the sixth stage.

After the sixth stage, all team riders must wear the wristband.

TEAM TRANSPORT

5/7-seater cars and 9-seater vans/minivans and camper vans (e.g. Volkswagen California) are permitted. Motorhomes or motorhomes with 5 or more seats are not permitted.

RELAY WITNESS

The runner on the course must carry the “relay witness”, which contains an electronic position detector.

It is compulsory for the Competitors to wear the bib well in sight, outside the safety devices, not to reduce its size or conceal any impressed markings or symbols, on pain of exclusion from the Race.

During the night, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. it is compulsory to wear the safety.

CHECKS

At the change points the participant must hand over the baton to the next runner.

At that point he/she must comply with the directives of the race officials in charge.

At each change point, the wristband will be checked before the start: its absence or tampering will be grounds for disqualification of the team.

EXCHANGE POINTS

There will be accessible toilets and chemical toilets located in an adjacent area at the changing points.

CLASSIFICATIONS:

GENERAL TEAMS;

MEN;

WOMEN;

MIXED (minimum 3 women or 3 men).

The race ranking of all the teams will be drawn up.

The rankings will then be drawn up for men’s teams (with maximum 2 women), women’s teams (maximum 2 men) and mixed teams

The timing service will be made by TDS – Time Data ServiceDATA SERVICE SRL

PREMIATIONS

The prize-giving ceremony of the winners will take place at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday 8th September 2024 in Rosolina Mare.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Organization, while taking care of the success of the Event, declines any responsibility for any damage or injury that may occur to Competitors, third parties and things, before, during and after the event.

RIGHT TO IMAGE

By signing the registration form, the athlete, from now on, expressly authorizes the organization to use free of charge images, still and/or moving, depicting himself and taken during his participation in the RESIA ROSOLINA RELAY.

This authorization for the use of his own image must be intended to be lent indefinitely and without territorial limits throughout the world, for use in various publications and films, including, by way of example and not limited to, promotional and/or advertising materials and made on all media.

The Organization may also assign to third parties, its institutional and commercial partners, the rights of use provided for in this agreement.

DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

By signing the registration form the athlete declares to know and accept the rules of the RESIA ROSOLINA RELAY published on the website www.resiarosolinarelay.it and to have turned 18 years of age on 6 September 2024.

He also expressly declares, under his own responsibility, not only to have declared the truth (art. 2 law 04/01/1968 n° 15 as modified by art. 3 paragraph 10 law 15/05/1997 n° 127), but to exonerate the organizers from any responsibility, both civil and criminal, for damages to persons and/or things caused by him or derived from him.

FINAL WARNINGS

The Organisation reserves the right to amend these Regulations at any time in order to ensure a better organisation of the competition.

Any changes to services, places and times will be promptly communicated to registered athletes through the confirmation letter and will be reported on the internal website.

PRIVACY FORM – CONSENT TO TREATMENT

INFORMATION AND CONTACTS

Although the organisation takes care of the success of the event, it declines all responsibility for any damage or injury that may occur to competitors, third parties and property, before, during and after the event.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints must be made in accordance with the FIDAL and R.T.I. rules.

FINAL WARNINGS

For all matters not covered by these regulations, the technical statutory regulations of the FIDAL and the G.G.G. apply.
