430 kilometres in 40 stages
The route starts in Resia, in Val Venosta, at the river’s source, and ends at its mouth in Rosolina. It crosses two regions – Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto – and five provinces: Bolzano, Trento, Verona, Venice and Rovigo.
The first teams are scheduled to set off at 4 am on Friday 2 September, with the last team in the race expected to finish by 11 pm on Saturday 3.
More than 95 percent of the running distance takes place on bike paths that run along the Adige River.
